Do you know how it feels to look for something online and can't seem to find the right information or the information to answer your questions? I was one of those people. I have spent hundreds of dollars through out the years on budgeting, financial planning, building businesses etc. I was looking for a way out of my financial situation. But the only way I was going to be abkle to do anything it was to be educated in the business of finances and money.
So I begin reading books on the subject of money. I read books that addressed financial planning, investments (what's the good and bad). I even attended seminars at various times. Checking the newspapers for investment banking etc. I even bought a subscription to business newspapers where I learned a lot about money markets and how they work. I learned about budgets and how to manage them which leads me to my next reason for why this site was created.
There are people out there I am sure that are good, decent, hard working people. We are considered the working poor. Even though I learned how to budget and allocate funds for this and that, there still wasn't enough money to go around. I also learned how a budget really does help in times of financial stress.
If you're anything like me every month, week and day you worry about the money you don't have and the bills you haven't paid and all the debt just keeps adding up. You keep working because you can't afford to give up. Giving up means dying to living. So you are forced to learn how to live with the debt until you are free of it.
I am no expert and don't have the credentials of one. I am not representing any legal advice or the sort. So please talk to an expert or professional on the subject before taking action.
I just know what I know and have a burning desire to share what I know with others who feel my plight. I needed someplace where I could find encouragement, vision, inspiration to keep going when it seems everything I've done has been futile. I needed somplace where I could vent my frustation when overwhelmend
Because becoming debt free is a process. It is a series of visions, goals and action steps to make and take. That part we understand. We want to know how it relates to our lives, relationships, families and the home life. We want to know how it all fits into our situations and circumstances. We want to know how to customize the plans to fit who we are and what we are trying to accomplish in our lives. How does the pieces of this puzzle fit together and what of the picture the puzzle is presenting to us?
After all the knowledge and understanding I gained through the years, it finally clicked. Allstate's insurance commercial shows the people that are there. I was there. I was at the end of my rope. I for one, was tired of being told "you need to get out of debt". I know! Tell me something I don't know.
So since this debt problem wasn't going away anytime soon and since I love to write, I decided to create this site. Plus I couldn't find what I was searching for in the first place. When I scanned the web I was looking for "how to cope and deal with debt psychologically, spiritually, emotionally and physically".
I could not find anywhere online where it addressed the stress, confusion and roller coaster scenario that most of us are on. We want off this rollercoaster, but we need to deal with what's happening on the inside of us during the time of becoming debt free. Again it is a process and debt is not going away by itself and it will not go away without a fight. So the battle begins for the heart and soul of becoming debt free and all that comes with it.
It is said that if there's something you are passionate about and you can't find enough information, then maybe you're the first to create it. For me right now this site and subject is a calling. This site existence is based on that calling.
The site seeks (I seek) to inspire, enlighten, educate and encourage others in their struggle to becoming debt free through my writing.
Sometimes God will give you a vision and you wonder "how?" "How" is the mystery. And so with this website I walk the path faithfully to Becoming Debt Free. As we travel this road together, the mystery will continue to unfold before us....
So born this site and vision for the future of Becoming Debt Free.
